YAMManagement - Security Agent
Undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. Responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.
This is a third shift position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of people into the property (the first to receive guests and ensure that each guest is accompanied by an employee before entering the facility)
- Remove trespassers from area
- Check surveillance cameras to identify disruptions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Foot patrols around property
- Maintain a detailed daily log of activities
- Collaborate with other members of the security team to ensure facilities are safe at all time
- Other duties, as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Proven work experience as a security officer or guard or relevant position
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a valid drivers license
- High school diploma or equivalent
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excell
- Proactive thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proven history of working well in stressful situations
- Must be friendly, approachable, and willing to help others
- Willing to work any shift, including nights and weekends.
Working Conditions:
This position will primarily work in an office environment (in-person) and will be required to travel to various properties. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
