*We are offering a $500 signing bonus, $250 to be paid out after 30 days of employment and $250 to be paid out after 60 days of employment. * 


The Technician role is responsible for assisting with the general ground’s maintenance of Scottsdale National Golf Club. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and is accustomed to working in highly collaborative and communicative team environment.

The Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Maintain exceptional grounds conditions with a desire to “exceed member expectations”
  • Mowing of greens, tees, fairways, grass, and detailing bunkers
  • Projects including clearing brush, trimming trees, installing drainage, sodding, installing, and maintaining flower beds, exercising care not to injure greens or shrubs
  • Cut greens and tee areas, using hand mower and power mower
  • Dig and rake ground to prepare new greens, grades, and cleans traps and repairs landscape, suing shovels, rakes, spades, and other tools
  • May plant, trim, and spray trees and shrubs
  • Operate tractors, and specialized equipment using specific attachments, to till, cultivate, and grade new grass areas, and to apply prescribed amounts of lime, fertilizer, insecticide, and fungicide 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education Required:

  • Ability to operate mowing equipment
  • Strong English language skills, and able to speak, read and write in English
  • Willingness to work in an environment of constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license
  • Hospitality experience preferably in a golf club, or luxury resort


  • This position will be exposed to various working conditions commonly found in a golf club environment
  • Moderate physical activity performing strenuous activities with moderate to loud noise
  • Primary work is outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions. i.e. rain, sun, wind, heat
  • Ability to coordinate work, frequently moves about, stand, walk, sit, possess necessary hand dexterity, climb or balance, stoop, kneel
  • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to lift, carry or otherwise move and/or position objects weighing up to 60 pounds
  • Must be able to see close and at a distance (20 feet or more), good peripheral vision
