Our Company and Role Overview
Scottsdale National Golf Club, owned and operated by Bob and Renee Parsons offers the ultimate epicurean experience, located in the heart of the desert Southwest. You’ll see sweeping views of the majestic Sonoran Desert, and vistas as far as the eye can see as part of the backdrop to your daily commute. The Club has two 18-hole courses surrounded by beautifully manicured grounds, mixing in just the right amount of desert landscape and lush fairways, with architecture that is set in a modern interpretation of a traditional southwest hacienda. But hold on a minute: don’t let our luxurious surroundings fool you. The Bad Little Nine, a 9-hole golf course, takes us back to our outlaw beginnings. With 15-foot deep sand pits, gnarly hazards and massive speakers pumping out tunes, you’ll come to the awe-inspiring realization you are not in a typical golf club setting.
Capitalizing on our approach to being anything but typical translates to our culinary operations and sets the stage for you to do your best work. With a generous open kitchen design, Scottsdale National breaks all boundaries in offering the ultimate culinary experience. You’ll also find the creative backbone to our legendary cuisine, Executive Chef Mel Mecinas, who is one of Phoenix’s more influential culinary leaders regularly taking centre stage at our infamous Chef’s Table. He’ll challenge you to bring your best self each day, think outside of your comfort zone and to out-do what you, and your team, achieved yesterday.
We’ll rely on your professional cooking experience, advanced knife skills, and thorough knowledge of kitchen operations to execute daily menu offerings. You won’t be alone in this journey and will have the unique benefit of working along-side a group of highly talented and passionate teammates that excel in working in a collaborative, high-paced and nimble environment to deliver consistently superior culinary creations.
