Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for recruiting in-house IT professionals to the organization, along with sourcing and hiring for open positions across multiple lines of businesses.  The ideal candidate will have strong IT sourcing/recruiting experience with the willingness to learn other industries (hospitality, golf, agency advertising/media production, etc.) and the desire to become an integral member of a highly effective, collaborative and proactive HR team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement team specific recruitment strategies, manage the overall recruiting process and gain the trust and confidence of the teams by proactively providing regular candidate updates
  • Draft and post openings utilizing various sites to build highly qualified candidate pools
  • Conduct phone screens utilizing behavioral based interview techniques to qualify technically capable and work environment appropriate candidates
  • Effectively communicate and confidently discuss company work environment characteristics including success elements, and company benefit programs to attract both passive and active candidates
  • Proactively develop future candidate network for a “always ready” approach to sourcing, reduce time to fill, and aid in the achievement of overall organization goals
  • Initiate regular candidate updates to the recruiting team, hiring managers and various stakeholders within business units
  • Enter, track, update and maintain candidate information within an HRIS/recruiting database in a timely manner, and with a high level of accuracy
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Experience and Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years’ in-house IT recruiting experience in a fast paced and matrixed work environment; non-IT industry experience highly desirable (hospitality, golf, agency advertising/media production, etc.,) or similar applicable work experience
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates utilizing various social media formats and building effective candidate networks
  • Previous ATS experience required; ADP Workforce Now familiarity preferred
  • Strong understanding of employment concepts and principles
  • Highly communicative and relationship focused approach, accustomed to working closely with a team, ability to connect with others, and strong drive to create a positive work environment
