The Web Marketing Specialist/Merchandiser is a support role responsible for updating and maintaining content on our websites. Candidate must be comfortable navigating an e-commerce platform with the ability to upload, edit, validate, and QA content on a regular cadence. The Web Marketing Specialist/Merchandiser will be responsible for product management in the CMS and merchandising all items on The Web Marketing Specialist/Merchandiser collaborates with cross-functional teams to ascertain the most reliable and relevant information. 


General Web Support 

    Work within a content management system (CMS) to maintain content for the website including adding and modifying products, information, and pages across all PXG.COM websites (US, UK, JP/APAC, and Canada)

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers and marketing teams to launch content within content management system, either on an as-needed basis or during predetermined release timelines

    Adhere to brand and content standards and guidelines; implement web analytics tags and tracking

    Collect, organize, edit and manage assets related to ongoing content updates

    Update, manage and publish content and products across website properties

    Ability to communicate and understand technical requirements, identify potential risks and prioritize workload 

    Monitor day-to-day management of web content-related requests through email, JIRA and Teams

    Work with subject matter experts to implement web best practices and processes including SEO, browser compatibility and QA testing

    Perform analysis and generate actionable reports when requested to support business decision-making processes and improve customer experience

    Have a pulse on new technology trends in an effort to constantly improve the site

    Perform other duties as assigned

Apparel/Accessories E-comm Web Support

    Build and update product pages, landing pages, and marketing-related pages for apparel and accessories product offerings 

    Own regular website updates to support marketing campaigns and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders on timing and execution 

    Support website sales and promotions working closely with marketing, apparel, accessories, and operations teams

    QA site daily to ensure updates have occurred and bug fixes are sent/corrected by the development team 

    Implement SEO best practices including content structure, tags and communicate with the SEO team when major updates are made to help increase the online presence of the website 

International Web Support

    Communicate with marketing and agency partner regarding price changes and minor website edits, open issues using project management software, and manage the development team through QA and launch

    Support international marketing team with adding equipment, apparel, and accessories to international websites

    Assist with routing assignments for any new launch additions to international sites; this includes keeping communication moving with the agency when needed

Experience and Education Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Web Development, Business or Communications (technical writing is a plus)

    3 years of work experience in a marketing environment with hands-on experience (e-commerce experience preferred)

    Must be familiar with reporting and sales metrics

    Must be familiar with HTML 

    Knowledge of Content Management Systems, JIRA, Google Analytics and proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    Salesforce experience a plus

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to navigate a cross-functional environment with a positive attitude

    Actively manage multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, problem solve, prioritize and managing time effectively

    Ability to collaborate internally with support teams (Marketing, Dev, Ops, etc.)

    Solid understanding of web marketing concepts

Working Conditions:

This position primarily works in an office environment. Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods.
