The Visual Merchandising – Stores position plays an important role in PXG’s retail strategy by supporting the implementation of in-store visual merchandising and best practices as well as brand standards across PXG’s retail store locations. This role will be responsible for merchandising execution, and monitoring merchandising compliance to ensure customers have exceptional in-store experience. This role will work collaboratively with other functions to implement PXG’s in-store brand standards and initiatives.

This position will utilize creativity and knowledge of industry trends and insights, PXG brand and product knowledge and professional industry experience to increase retail store sales and profitability through impactful and effective merchandising in support of the retail network.  


  • Plan and execute regular store merchandising visits and support merchandising for new stores
  • Implement visual merchandising standards and strategies in the field during regular store visits: mannequin displays, fixture merchandising, and graphic placement reporting 
  • Incorporate and deliver training initiatives in all merchandising categories during store visits. 
  • Partner with store managers on specific merchandising needs and follow up on requests
  • Relay any instore issues: maintenance, stock levels, policy and procedure as it relates to merchandising, brand standard, and operations.
  • Monitor and report store merchandising compliance and brand standards in support of store managers and teams. 
  • Develop dynamic displays, in all categories, to drive traffic and motivate clients to purchase. 
  • Support stores in all aspects of presentation: managing fixtures, POS materials, store maintenance standards, housekeeping standards, and equipment presentation and placement standards.
  • Cross check website to ensure store product presentations aligns with online presentation.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience  
  • Minimum 3 years’ in leadership and management positions
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail merchandising with proven track record
  • Demonstrated management and leadership experience a must
  • Merchandising experience with golf apparel and equipment a plus

Skills Required:

  • Executive level communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to develop merchandising plans and training materials/curriculums
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to communicate across entire organization: ownership/leadership, peers and subordinates in a matrixed organization
  • Ability to collaborate internally with support teams (Retail Store associates, Apparel team, Marketing, retail & company operations teams, Finance, Sales, etc.)
  • Results oriented with a strong drive to succeed and breakdown/overcome barriers to success 
  • Ability to travel is a requirement for this position
  • Proficient in MS Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel

Working Conditions:

This position primarily works in a retail environment with office responsibilities.   Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods. Able to lift and dress male and female mannequins, and comfortable to climb a ladder.
