PXG is looking for a Senior Director of Product Management who will create cross-functional strategic roadmaps, drive a unified customer experience, and ensure feature execution across the company. Because of this, the person in this role will have a combination of clear and concise decision-making as well as very strong communication skills. The role will sit between all departments, keeping the product plan on track and making it visible across the company. The Senior Director of Product Management will ensure that that PXG’s overall strategy and goals are supported by those of our digital products. 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and oversees all activities of the product management department. Has clear and concise decision-making ability. 
  • Ability to speak in non-technical terms as well as technical when necessary. Ability to break down requests and explain in simple terms what the goals are to all audiences. Uses storytelling to rally teams behind a cause. 
  • Drives consensus across departments. Collaborates to ensure efficient product road mapping, product planning, prioritization, and an overall agile product development process. Keeps stakeholders up to date on product process and progress.
  • Develops, defines, and oversees the company’s digital roadmap. Incorporates existing development backlogs and makes priorities as determined by the business, consumer, and market needs.
  • Engages extensively with consumers to gain firsthand insight on the consumers’ and market feedback on the product and/or experience.
  • Combines consumer and market information to drive a clearer understanding of the current and future market direction, needs, and potential receptivity.
  • Conducts consumer and market research that further aids the business in understanding current and future product needs.
  • Advocates for product/feature value and benefits
  • Synthesizes diverse and complex information and data to create refined strategies, solutions, workflows, and procedures that are presentable to a wide array of audience types
  • Influences and inspires
  • Performs and completes tasks in a timely fashion. Develops product solutions on short notice and who displays calmness and composure in the face of immense workload and pressure

Education/Experience Required:

  • BS/BA degree, MBA preferred
  • 10 years of experience as a leader in Product Management
  • Proven track record of cross-functional product road mapping, launching of successful products, unification of product portfolios, and experience working with SaaS product lines. Retail digital product management experience is preferred.

Working Conditions:

This position works in an office environment.  Must be able to bend, crouch, sit, stand, lift.
