PXG (PARSONS XTREME GOLF) is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Salesforce Software Developer to join its premier development team. This position is part of the team responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s central Salesforce solution and key enterprise integrations. This individual will work closely with development teams to solve and deliver high-quality and revenue-driving features that bring value to the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable enterprise solutions and integrations on the salesforce.com (SFDC) platform 
  • Work with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Interact and build web services using tools like Apex and SOQL to support key enterprise initiatives
  • Build and run SOQL and SQL queries and perform data loading and other data-related exercises, including deduplication
  • Take part in development, deployment, testing, training, and documentation
  • Work with teams to create and maintain ad-hoc reporting and dashboards
  • Implement and maintain automation toolings such as Process Builder, Flows, and Workflow rules
  • Stay aware of new developments in the Salesforce platform 
  • Perform code reviews and ad-hoc pair programming; contribute to the iterative improvement of tools, automation, and practices used by the team
  • Assist in the setup of user roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of Apex classes, triggers, and other custom objects
  • Collaborate, assist and mentor other developers as needed

Required Job Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in software development 
  • 3 years of experience developing on the Salesforce CRM platform
  • Proficient in Salesforce product and data architecture best practices
  • Experience working with CRM, order, product, lead, and case management 
  • Proficient in developing or understanding Salesforce Lightning Components
  • Experience in Salesforce security models, roles and permission sets, and data segmentation
  • Knowledge/experience with web services (REST / OCAPI)
  • Database experience writing queries in SQL/SOQL 
  • Working knowledge of source control systems such as GitHub
  • Familiar with service-oriented applications, deployment strategies, continuous integration, Gitflow, and test-driven development 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certification 1 and 2
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience working with player support, sales, and eCommerce teams
  • Experience working with Salesforce CPQ 
  • Experience working with integrator CMS, OMA, PIM, or other best-in-class products

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize and organize workflow to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of the platform and common practices
  • Ability to design solutions for business problems
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

 Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience

Years of Experience:

  • 5 years of experience with software development 
  • 3 years of experience with Salesforce development

Travel: This position may be required to attend occasional onsite events and meetings.

Working Conditions:

This position primarily works in an office environment. Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods.
