As the Director of Global Materials and Distribution Center Management, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation warehouse managements systems, establishing PAR levels, and safeguarding and valuation of inventories both domestically and internationally. In this role, you will identify and engage third-party storage and distribution centers setting global standards for both internal and external partners. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Direct management of the WMS (warehouse management system) around the globe
  • On boarding and management of 3PLs globally 
  • Enhance the overall receipt, storage, and inventory management, as well as, overseeing organization structures, process improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage and develop the internal customer service function to optimize service levels, reduce costs and build relations.
  • Partnering closely with the Production Team to ensure goods are at proper locations to support sales and facilitate assembly.
  • Lead ongoing efforts to achieve continuous improvement through evaluation of new technologies and industry best practices. 
  • Build and develop a high performing team.
  • Direct and manage physical inventory audits and inventory management processes to highest specifications.
  • Managing inventory strategies to achieve synergy across the PXG’s global operation.
  • Conceptualize and develop strategies for supporting and managing the global portfolio of products 
  • Travel internationally as needed to work with warehouses and 3PLs

Experience and Education Required:

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in supply chain management in a consumer goods company, sporting goods experience a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing end to end strategies to improve materials and logistics efficiencies and effectiveness. Experience driving cost-reduction initiatives across the supply chain function through the implementation of continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting a retail and D2C business structure
  • Bachelor's degree, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or supply chain certification a plus

Skills Required:

  • Experience working with and optimizing ERP, MRP, TMS and WMS.  Acumatica experience a plus.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office skills.
  • WMS experience, implementation of a WMS is a plus 
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing, and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
  • Experience leading, managing and managing a team, global experience preferred 
  • Forward looking with a holistic approach
  • Continuous Improvement/Lean Supply Chain mindset
