PXG is searching for a creative and experienced Director of Content Marketing. The leader we’re looking for will define and implement our global content marketing strategy and develop compelling and effective content to power demand generation, engagement, and retention. You will partner with key stakeholders to ensure that all content is on-brand and optimized for all channels and platforms including website content, blogs, social media, email, and video.


  • Develop content strategies that improve SEO, audience engagement, sales, and customer retention.
  • Work with research teams to distill audience and messaging insights that drive targeted and engaging content.
  • Utilize data to analyze content and identify the characteristics that tend to improve content performance.
  • Measure the impact of our content strategy and all content created to optimize ongoing efforts.
  • Lead and manage a team of creatives and outside vendors to produce a large volume of high-quality content that drives traffic, engagement, word of mouth, and sales.
  • Present ideas effectively and articulate why a concept does or does not work.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal and external teams.
  • Look into content tools and software that can help create and promote content.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


  • Deep understanding of SEO and content marketing. 
  • Ability to use great storytelling to drive interest, conversion, and brand loyalty.
  • Capable of using data and research to better understand assignments, audiences, platforms, and brand.
  • Immaculate copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills: grammar, punctuation, spelling, and structure.
  • Strong team leadership, people management, and communication skills. 
  • Can flex between content styles with ease.
  • Experience with production and post-production.
  • An idea factory who can participate in large campaign development projects.
  • Diligent multitasker who is deadline driven, organized, and can handle large volume.
  • Collaborative, positive, thrives in a fast-paced environment.


  • 5 years of experience leading a content marketing team.
  • BS/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build & execute content marketing strategies with clear objectives that align with sales and business goals.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, critical-thinking skills.
  • Intellectually curious; strong work ethic; attention to detail; problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

This position can be a hybrid between remote and in-office work; requires sitting or standing for long periods of time working on a computer or talking on the phone; may require attendance of off-site events and in-office meetings.
