The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing assigned projects, including specific phases of project management, working with schedules, cost projections, contracts, and project status reports.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Leads all aspects of the construction project management process including pre-construction and budgeting, design, reviewing bids from contractors, work closely with senior leadership for all facets of projects and site logistics.
  • Supervises the progress, quality, and timeliness of all development and improvement projects.
  • Oversees design development and is available to answer day-to-day questions from the on-site superintendent.
  • Provides monthly reporting to include commitments to date, forecasts to completion, invoices received and issued to the company, and takes necessary action when required.
  • Effectively and frequently communicates project updates and potential obstacles to senior leadership.
  • Manages and assists with coordination with City, County, State and Federal Agencies, Utility companies and team members.
  • Maintains job costing files and regularly generates reports on project status.
  • Other duties as directed.

Experience and Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
  • Prior project management experience in the commercial construction industry.

Working Conditions: 

This position primarily works in an office environment.  Some travel is required to various construction sites.  The use of personal protective equipment may be required when visiting active construction sites. Must be able to sit, walk and stand for long periods of time.
