Job Description

This position is responsible for managing the daily Human Resources needs at Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG). The ideal candidate will have recruiting and generalist experience, and the desire to work with a highly effective and proactive HR team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first level HR support to employees and managers; “walk the halls” approach to establish strong relationships with employees at all PXG locations
  • Work with hiring managers to create job descriptions, and manage the sourcing, interviewing and offer process ensuring appropriate technical skills and work culture/environment fit
  • Submit online background checks/drug screens and provide timely updates to managers
  • Assist managers with employee relations situations, provide recommendations and resolve in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Assist in development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Answer benefit related questions and work closely with the HR/Benefits team on complex employee issues
  • Submit and follow up on workers’ compensation claims
  • Manage new hire orientation and provide overview of work culture/environment expectations
  • Assist with the preparation and roll-out of the annual performance reviews
  • Work with the HR team to create/manage employee engagement efforts
  • Prepare various reports from internal HRIS for senior leaders as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Assist the HR team with various research projects and/or special projects
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Experience and Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field/ equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, or related HRIS system
